How would you benefit from having this genetic test?
There is abundant scientific evidence that shows some people need to consume more (e.g. vitamin D) or less (e.g. sodium) of a particular nutrient than the general dietary recommendations in order to achieve optimal health. The only way to know which client needs to follow more stringent dietary advice, and for which nutrient or food bioactive, is a genetic test. Our DNA-based recommendations provide greater precision for each individual than the general dietary guidelines.

What is the difference between the Health, Sport, Fertility and Plant-Based tests?
The Health test
The Health test focuses on achieving optimal health for individuals who are pursuing general well-being. For example, these individuals may be interested in weight management, and improvements in cardiometabolic health and fitness.
The Sport test
The Sport test is designed to provide nutrition and performance-related recommendations that will help active individuals and athletes boost physical and mental performance while optimizing body composition and nutritional status.
The Fertility test
The Fertility test is designed to provide nutrition recommendations that will help individuals (male or female) who are trying to conceive by optimizing their fertility potential.
The Plant-Based test
The Plant-Based test focuses on achieving optimal health and well-being for individuals following a vegetarian or vegan diet.
Do you offer any other genetic tests?
Yes, we offer the following additional genetic testing services:
Collapsible content
Hormone Metabolism & Methylation panel (available upon request)
Can be added to any 70-gene test. The panel analyzes genes encoding enzymes involved in the production of androgens and estrogens, estrogen metabolism and elimination, and DNA methylation.
Skin test
Can be added to any 70-gene test. Helps determine how genes can influence the skin's ability to combat signs of aging, as well as markers that affect eating habits and how the body metabolizes nutrients that support skin health.
Pharmacogenetics (PGx) test
Analyzes variations in genes for over 150 drugs (or drug combinations) over a range of therapeutic areas that include mental health, pain, and cardiology. All recommendations are based on high-quality evidence from key regulatory bodies and expert consortia in pharmacogenetics. Knowledge of genetic modifiers of drug response allows healthcare providers to have a tailored approach to prescribing medications. It provides them with information on which drugs might be less effective and which drugs might increase the risk of adverse side effects. Healthcare providers can either consider alternative drugs or monitor their patients more frequently for possible unintended effects. A different type of swab kit must be used for PGx, and our standard saliva collection kits and buccal swab kits can only be used for our nutrigenomics tests. If you do not have PGx kits on hand, we can ship you a supply or send a kit to your client directly to collect their sample from home.
