Laura Piccone

Founder, Novucor Health Supplements Rx

Laura Piccone is the founder of Novucor Health Supplements Rx, an American vitamin, nutritional supplement and wellness company built around product quality, transparency and consumer education.

Laura’s path to founding Novucor was personal.

Her husband is a 100% disabled U.S. Army veteran, and for years she spent considerable time researching nutrition, vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements while looking for ways to better support his overall health and quality of life.

That experience exposed her to something many consumers encounter: an enormous supplement marketplace filled with products that can look very similar on the surface, while differing significantly in ingredient forms, dosages, manufacturing practices, testing standards and overall quality.

It ultimately became one of the driving forces behind Novucor.

From Personal Research to Novucor

Laura founded Novucor with a straightforward philosophy:

People should understand what they are putting into their bodies and why they are taking it.

Rather than building a supplement company around marketing trends or exaggerated promises, Laura wanted Novucor to place greater emphasis on clearly identified ingredients, nutritional education, quality-focused manufacturing and transparency about what supplements can—and cannot—do.

Today, she oversees Novucor’s overall vision, brand development, product direction, consumer education initiatives and the continued development of the company’s health and wellness resources.

Background in Health, Fitness and Wellness

Laura is a Health Coach, Fitness Trainer and Naturopathy Practitioner.

Her background in fitness, nutrition and natural wellness has helped shape Novucor’s approach to nutritional supplementation—particularly the company’s emphasis on targeted nutrition rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Her areas of interest include:

  • Nutrition and nutritional supplementation
  • Vitamins and minerals
  • Metabolic wellness
  • Healthy aging
  • Fitness and active lifestyles
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Supplement ingredient quality
  • Bioavailability and nutrient forms
  • Natural wellness
  • Consumer supplement education

A Focus on Education

One of Laura’s priorities is helping consumers become better supplement shoppers.

That means encouraging people to look beyond front-label claims and ask practical questions:

What form of an ingredient is being used?
How much is actually included?
Where is the product manufactured?
What quality standards are followed?
Is testing or supporting documentation available?
And most importantly, does the supplement actually make sense for the individual taking it?

Veterans and the Novucor Mission

Laura’s experience as the spouse and caregiver of a disabled Army veteran also helped shape Novucor’s broader commitment to the veteran community.

Novucor’s veteran initiatives are built around service, recognition, education and connecting veterans and military families with useful resources.
